For the not Euro-italians a short introduction.
April 25th 1945 is the day Italy won the war against Hitler and Mussolini.
We celebrate it each year.
The 1st photo you find is about the monument dedicated to Duccio Galimberti and his Ragazzi that were the first unit of Partigiani and thanks to them started the civil war against the fascists and the war against Hitler and the nazism ,( not against Germany… but against nazis !).
Duccio Garinberti in Ventotene was also one of the fathers of the idea of the EU.
