Tactical Warning : Egypt :wheat production -15.8% , rice prduction -21.56%

Egypt’s wheat production has declined by 15.8 % to reach 7.17 million tons,.

The reasons are :

- price drops
- low productivity due to global warming

The report also said that Egypt’s rice production declined to reach 4.33 million tons as compared to 5.52 million tons the year before.That decline came as a result of a Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation decision last year to reduce land allocated to rice cultivation.
